Beginning May 1, 2017 - Opening day for the 2017 season - Boardman Community Baseball will be using the Blue Sombrero text alert system for sending ALL text to parents, players, umpires and supporters of BCB.
BCB has been using the RainedOut Text Alert system for the past 5 years with great success. Blue Sombrero also uses the RainedOut service but we need to migrate all users over to the Blue Sombrero platform to better serve our BCB families.
You may have already signed up for text alerts from Blue Sombrero but we are asking everyone to take a minute and opt-in to the new BCBAlerts text group.
This will be the text group BCB will use to alert managers/coaches, parents, players and umpires to important league information. Notification of field closings due to bad weather will be the main purpose of this group but other league info will be sent throughout the season. |
